Check your phone before you fly

  • Dial *#06#. An EID under the IMEI means the phone can take an eSIM.
  • iPhone XS and later, Pixel 3 and later, Galaxy S20 and later, with exceptions.
  • A phone bought on contract may be locked. Your operator unlocks it, usually free.

What is an eSIM?

A SIM card your phone downloads instead of one you put in. You scan a code, the plan installs, and your own SIM stays where it is.

Is my device compatible?

Most phones sold since 2019 will. Dial *#06#, if an EID appears alongside the IMEI, yours does. There is a list of every model on the guide page.

How do I install it?

Scan the QR code from your email in your phone's settings. It takes a minute, and the plan waits until you land.

Can I keep my SIM?

Your own SIM stays in the phone for calls and texts while the eSIM carries the data.

What is your refund policy?

An eSIM that has not been installed can be refunded. The refunds page has the details.
